How can I secure an office computer set aside specifically for student use (using the office login and password)?
The OIT’s Distributed Support Services (DSS) personnel can advise the best way to do this. Students should use their own NetID and password, rather than sharing one with others. Systems also can be "locked down" to enable them to run only the programs needed for the assigned work.
