I’ve heard that ND’s firewall protects my computer. Is there really a need for more security measures?

Yes.Although the firewall does offer significant protection against security threats, no one measure is a complete defense. Think of a castle. Since it has a moat, why wouldn't they send all the other defenders home? What if someone crosses the moat? Defense in depth is a cornerstone of effective security. For an optimally secure computer, we also recommend the use of anti-virus software and conducting weekly anti-spywarescans. In addition, the Sensitive Number Finder should be run at least quarterly, or more often if you work with highly sensitive data.
