Awareness, Training and Education Program
For Faculty, Staff and Student Employees
The goal of this campaign is for each employee on the campus to achieve a basic level of understanding of Information Security and change their behavior accordingly.
To do this, we created a network of security contacts in each department, to share the Information Security message with their department, be available to answer questions and provide assistance where needed, in conjunction with their IT support staff.
The on-going plan for the program will include shorter training videos to be shared at staff meetings two or three times a year, an email newsletter, continuation of the postcard series, and occasional giveaways. We will survey a segment of campus at least once a year to measure the changes in information security awareness.
The initial campaign consists of several components:
Web site, redesigned to highlight the campaign logo
Initial Contact, timed for release over four weeks
Postcard 1 ~ Postcard 2 ~ Postcard 3 ~ Postcard 4
Training, mandatory for all employees
Ensuring the Security of University Information

just close out of it at this point.)
